Snow

This picture was taken of Lachlan on Mt Wellington on a February day in 2008. Amazing to see snow in summer! The boys had a fantastic time in the snow and were delighted to share with some visiting Queensland relatives who couldn't believe the weather and were thrilled to have their first ever time in the snow! I love seeing his eyes so filled with fun and mischief..............

Waiting

Well I now remember how challenging the last few weeks of pregnancy are......Insomnia has well and truly arrived and I literally had no sleep last night. I guess this makes us really ready to embrace labour and meet our new family member. Four and a half weeks until our due date so it is all rather close.....I am so looking forward to the cocoon of baby haze that is the first few weeks of a newborn's life. It is such a special time where the rest of the comings and goings of the world seem unimportant. We will all be home together for a few weeks as school and work holidays are scheduled about then......bliss. This picture is Felix at two days old.......it reminds me of all that is approaching.
